Dorman 904-6009 Nitrogen Oxide NOx Sensor for Diesel Particulate Filter

The Dorman 904-6009 is a direct replacement nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor designed to monitor exhaust emissions in diesel-powered vehicles. This sensor is strategically positioned at the inlet of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) to measure NOx levels and provide critical data to the vehicle's engine control module for optimal emissions control and performance.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for factory NOx sensor
• Designed for inlet of diesel particulate filter location
• Monitors nitrogen oxide levels in exhaust stream
• Helps maintain proper emissions control system function
• Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications
• Provides accurate readings for engine management system

This NOx sensor is essential for maintaining compliance with emissions standards and ensuring proper diesel engine operation. A failing NOx sensor can trigger check engine lights, reduce fuel efficiency, and cause the vehicle to enter reduced power mode. The Dorman 904-6009 restores proper sensor function to keep your diesel emissions system operating as designed.
