Product Details

The Cometic C5505-044 cylinder head gasket is engineered specifically for GM LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 Gen-3 and Gen-4 small block V8 engines. This Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) gasket features a 4.040-inch bore diameter and .044-inch compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and stock replacement applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLX) construction provides superior sealing and durability under high compression and temperature
  • 4.040-inch bore diameter accommodates stock and mildly overbored LS engines
  • .044-inch compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with Viton rubber coating ensure reliable combustion sealing
  • Designed for GM LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 Gen-3 and Gen-4 small block V8 engines
  • Resistant to extreme temperatures and pressures found in performance applications

Cometic's MLX gaskets are built with multiple layers of stainless steel, creating a gasket that can withstand the rigors of high-performance engines while maintaining excellent cylinder sealing. The embossed design allows the gasket to conform to minor imperfections in the head and block surfaces, while the Viton rubber coating enhances sealing around combustion chambers and coolant passages.

Thank You

I called in and talked to someone and it was hard to understand his accent and he was very short with me. I gave him my party number and he didn't confirm with me what it was, he only said that they had it in stock. I needed 12 came off spray paint and so I asked him if they had the 12 and he could not answer the question. I just decided to make my purchase on the computer because at least the computer has the answers. Shopping was good but could have left a day or 2 earlier. I do shipping myself and all my orders are shipped the same day, why can't you do the same?

I would have liked another angle or two of the photo to help confirm the purchase.

Best price!

everything went well!!
