Cometic C5411-080 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket for Chevrolet Small Block - Gen-1 V8

The Cometic C5411-080 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chevrolet Generation 1 Small Block V8 engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features a .080" (2.0mm) compressed thickness and is designed to accommodate 4.060" bore applications, making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring reliable sealing under demanding conditions.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under high cylinder pressures
• 4.060" bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly overbored small block Chevy applications
• .080" compressed gasket thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• Valve pocketed bore design provides clearance for larger valve configurations
• Vortec head compatible for modern cylinder head upgrades
• Embossed stainless steel layers with Viton rubber coating ensure optimal sealing

Cometic MLS gaskets are the preferred choice for performance engine builders, offering exceptional resistance to blow-out, superior torque retention, and excellent reusability compared to traditional composite gaskets. The advanced material construction allows the gasket to conform to imperfect sealing surfaces while maintaining compression sealing integrity throughout the engine's operating range.
