Product Details

The Cometic C4623-051 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Subaru EZ30D Mark II engine. This precision gasket features a 90mm bore diameter and .051-inch thickness, designed for the left-hand side (LHS) cylinder bank.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .051-inch compressed thickness for optimal compression ratio
  • 90mm bore diameter precision-matched to EZ30D specifications
  • Left-hand side (LHS) cylinder bank fitment
  • Advanced embossment technology ensures proper combustion sealing
  • Viton rubber coating provides enhanced resistance to heat and chemicals

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with Viton rubber coatings to create a gasket that is both strong and flexible. The embossed layers provide superior sealing around combustion chambers, oil passages, and coolant ports, making this gasket ideal for both stock rebuilds and performance applications. The MLS design accommodates slight deck surface irregularities while maintaining excellent clamp load distribution.
