Product Details

The Cometic C5799-030 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B and RB block engines. This high-performance gasket features a .030" compressed thickness and accommodates a 4.600" bore diameter with a siamese bore design.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme conditions
  • .030" (0.030 inch) compressed gasket thickness for precision compression ratio tuning
  • 4.600" bore diameter designed for big block Chrysler B/RB applications
  • Siamese bore configuration for proper sealing on non-siamesed block designs
  • MLS technology allows for minor surface imperfections while maintaining optimal seal
  • Ideal for performance and racing applications requiring reliable head sealing

Cometic MLS head gaskets are manufactured using multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, providing exceptional recovery and conformability. This gasket is designed to handle high cylinder pressures and temperature extremes commonly found in built engines, forced induction applications, and high-performance racing engines.
