The Cometic C4340-040 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for the Subaru EG33 3.3L flat-six engine. This gasket features a 98mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .040 inches, providing precise sealing and exceptional durability under high-performance conditions.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel construction for superior sealing and combustion chamber integrity
• 98mm bore diameter designed for Subaru EG33 engines
• .040" compressed thickness for optimal compression ratio management
• Resistant to extreme temperatures and pressures
• Eliminates the need for additional sealants when properly installed
• Manufactured with aerospace-quality materials for maximum reliability

Cometic MLS gaskets are built with multiple layers of stainless steel, providing the strength and flexibility needed to withstand thermal expansion and contraction cycles. The embossed sealing beads ensure consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface, making this gasket ideal for both stock rebuilds and performance applications on Subaru EG33 engines found in SVX and other legacy models.
