Product Details

The Dorman 38645 Tailgate Hinge Kit provides a complete replacement solution for worn or damaged tailgate hinges on pickup trucks. This kit includes both left and right gate-side hinge assemblies, offering a convenient two-piece solution for restoring proper tailgate operation.

Key Features:

  • Includes both left and right side gate-side hinge assemblies for complete replacement
  • Direct replacement for original equipment hinges on specific truck applications
  • Constructed from durable materials designed to withstand regular use and weather exposure
  • Restores smooth tailgate opening and closing operation
  • Eliminates sagging, binding, or misalignment issues caused by worn hinges

This gate-side hinge kit is designed to mount on the tailgate itself, working in conjunction with body-side hinges to provide full tailgate functionality. Installation requires basic hand tools and mechanical knowledge. Replacing worn tailgate hinges helps prevent further damage to the tailgate and truck bed while ensuring secure closure and proper alignment.

Very easy shopping experience .

Easy navigation and quick process to checkout.

Which the pic represented actual item. Had to check other sites to compare the item # and make sure I was ordering the right thing.

Quality air cleaners. They also come with a custom wing nut. Edelbrock comes with a cheap cast wing nut.

Easy fast, reliable, I will be back for more products.

My overall experience was great, Got the parts I needed at a good price. Shipping was kind of slow, but the Post Office always is slow. Thanks for the parts!
