Product Details

The Cometic C5799-056 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B and RB big block engines. This high-performance gasket features a .056" compressed thickness and is designed for engines with a 4.600" bore diameter in a siamese bore configuration.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under extreme cylinder pressures
  • .056" (1.42mm) compressed gasket thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
  • 4.600" bore diameter accommodates stock and moderately overbored B/RB engines
  • Siamese bore design for engines without coolant passages between cylinders
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with Viton rubber sealing beads resist combustion gases and fluids
  • Excellent for high-performance, racing, and turbocharged applications

Cometic MLS gaskets are designed to recover from extreme cylinder head movement and maintain consistent seal integrity through heat cycles. Compatible with Chrysler 383, 400, 413, 426, and 440 big block engines. Perfect for engine builders seeking reliable performance in demanding applications.
