Cometic C5861-030 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket for Subaru Bore - EZ30D 90mm

The Cometic C5861-030 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for the Subaru EZ30D Mark I engine. This precision-engineered gasket features a 90mm bore diameter and .030" thickness, making it ideal for applications requiring a reliable, durable seal in flat-six horizontally opposed engines.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• 90mm bore diameter engineered for Subaru EZ30D applications
• .030" (0.76mm) gasket thickness for precise compression control
• Left-hand side (LHS) cylinder head application
• Designed for the EZ30D Mark I engine configuration
• Advanced material technology resists combustion pressure and temperature extremes
• Provides excellent recovery and conformability to sealing surfaces

Cometic MLS gaskets are constructed with multiple layers of stainless steel, providing the strength and flexibility needed to withstand the demanding conditions of modern engines. The embossed active sealing beads ensure consistent clamping loads across the sealing surface, while the coating provides micro-sealing to prevent leaks. This gasket is essential for engine rebuilds, performance upgrades, or replacement in Subaru EZ30-powered vehicles including select Legacy, Outback, and Tribeca models.
