Cometic C5799-080 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket for Chrysler B/RB 4.600" Bore

The Cometic C5799-080 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B and RB engine families. This gasket features a compressed thickness of .080 inches and is designed for engines with a 4.600-inch bore diameter in a Siamese bore configuration.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• .080-inch compressed gasket thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
• 4.600-inch bore diameter accommodates stroked and bored B/RB engines
• Siamese bore design for B and RB block configurations
• Advanced MLS technology provides excellent recovery and conformability
• Engineered to withstand high cylinder pressures in performance applications

Cometic MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with elastomeric coatings that micro-seal imperfections in the head and block surfaces. This design makes them ideal for high-performance, turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous applications where traditional composite gaskets may fail. The .080-inch thickness allows engine builders to fine-tune compression ratios for maximum power output.
