Product Details

The Cometic C5460-095 is a high-performance multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler B-block and RB-block V8 engines. Featuring a precision 4.350-inch bore and .095-inch compressed thickness, this gasket delivers exceptional sealing performance for both stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-layer steel construction for superior durability and heat resistance
  • 4.350-inch bore diameter accommodates stock and slightly overbored cylinders
  • .095-inch (2.4mm) compressed gasket thickness
  • Engineered for Chrysler B-block (383, 400) and RB-block (413, 426, 440) engines
  • MLS design provides excellent rebound characteristics and maintains seal integrity under extreme cylinder pressures
  • Requires proper surface preparation with maximum 50 RA finish for optimal sealing

Cometic MLS gaskets are a premium choice for performance rebuilds, offering reliability in high-compression and forced-induction applications. The multi-layer construction compensates for minor surface imperfections while maintaining a robust seal between the cylinder head and block. Sold individually—two gaskets required per engine.
