Product Details

The Cometic C5220-060 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for GM L82 and LG8 Generation 3 60-degree V6 engines. This gasket features a 91mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of 0.060 inches, providing reliable sealing performance for stock and modified applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 0.060-inch compressed gasket thickness
  • 91mm bore diameter optimized for GM Gen-3 60° V6 engines
  • Engineered for L82 and LG8 engine platforms
  • Exceptional resistance to combustion pressure and thermal cycling
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with elastomeric coatings

Cometic MLS head gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with specialized coatings to create a gasket that maintains consistent clamping pressure across the entire sealing surface. The design accommodates minor surface imperfections while providing maximum blowout resistance, making these gaskets ideal for both OEM replacement and performance builds.
