Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• 4.060-inch bore diameter accommodates standard and slightly over-bored blocks
• .092-inch compressed thickness provides reliable sealing with stock or milled heads
• Designed for 18-degree and 23-degree cylinder head configurations
• Valve pocketed bore design ensures proper clearance and prevents interference
• Compatible with Chevrolet Gen-1 Small Block V8 engines (262-400 cubic inch)

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coatings to maintain superior torque retention and resist corrosion. The embossed sealing beads maximize sealing pressure around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil return holes, while the flexible construction allows the gasket to conform to slight surface imperfections. This gasket is engineered to handle the thermal expansion and cylinder pressure demands of performance engines while maintaining a reliable seal.
