Cometic C4867-060 Throttle Body Gasket for Subaru - EJ22E

The Cometic C4867-060 is a precision-engineered throttle body mounting gasket designed specifically for Subaru EJ22E 2.2L H4 engines found in 1998 Forester, 1993-1998 Impreza, and 1990-1999 Legacy models. This high-performance gasket ensures a reliable seal between the throttle body and intake manifold.

AFM Material Technology:

• Chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core
• Temperature resistance exceeding 250°F for demanding engine environments
• 85% recovery rate while maintaining strong torque retention
• 0.060-inch compressed thickness for precise fitment
• No gasket sealers or re-torquing required

Quality Construction:

• Reinforced gasket material compounds engineered for sealing irregular surfaces
• Armor-clad construction with graphite and galvanized steel reinforcement
• Precision-cut to OEM specifications for proper throttle body alignment
• Manufactured to order by Cometic Gasket, a trusted name in performance sealing solutions

This gasket provides superior sealing performance without the drawbacks of traditional paper or rubber gaskets, making it ideal for both stock and modified Subaru engines. The AFM material's excellent recovery properties ensure consistent sealing even after repeated thermal cycling, preventing vacuum leaks that can cause poor idle quality and performance issues.
