Product Details

The Cometic C4591-036 is a precision-engineered Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63T DOHC turbocharged engines. This gasket is manufactured for Evolution 4 through Evolution 8 models and features an 87mm bore diameter with a compressed thickness of .036 inches.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability under high boost and temperature conditions
  • 87mm bore diameter optimized for Mitsubishi 4G63T engines
  • .036 inch (0.91mm) compressed gasket thickness
  • Engineered specifically for DOHC turbocharged applications
  • Compatible with Evolution 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 models
  • Provides excellent resistance to combustion pressure and thermal cycling

Cometic MLS head gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with strategically placed embossments that create a superior seal around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil galleries. The MLS design allows the gasket to respond to the expansion and contraction of the engine block and cylinder head, maintaining consistent sealing pressure across the entire surface even in high-performance and high-boost applications.

I am glad that you sent an authentic Onan spark plug. I have read that other sellers are substituting other brands of spark plugs and I wanted Onan, only. Thank you.
