Fairchild D4068 Fuel Tank Vent Hose for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler 20 Gallon Tank

The Fairchild D4068 is a direct-replacement fuel tank vent hose designed specifically for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler models equipped with the 20-gallon fuel tank. This critical emissions component allows fuel vapors to safely escape from the tank while preventing liquid fuel from entering the evaporative emissions system.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement for Jeep part number 52040081
• Engineered specifically for 20-gallon fuel tank applications
• Fuel-resistant construction designed to withstand harsh underbody conditions
• Helps maintain proper tank ventilation and prevents pressure buildup
• Restores proper EVAP system function

This fuel tank vent hose is an essential component for maintaining your Wrangler's fuel system integrity and emissions compliance. Over time, the original rubber hose can crack, become brittle, or develop leaks due to age and exposure to fuel vapors, heat, and environmental conditions. Replacing a damaged vent hose helps prevent fuel odors, maintains proper tank pressure, and ensures your vehicle's evaporative emissions system operates correctly.
