Product Details

The ACDelco 84819069 Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger is a suction and liquid heat exchanger designed for GM vehicle HVAC systems. This genuine GM OE component is engineered to optimize air conditioning performance in vehicles equipped with R1234yf refrigerant systems, a low GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerant.

Key Features:

  • Internal heat exchanger design transfers heat between high-pressure liquid and low-pressure vapor refrigerant circuits
  • Subcools liquid refrigerant before expansion valve while superheating vapor refrigerant to protect the compressor
  • Improves system efficiency and cooling capacity in R1234yf air conditioning systems
  • Includes liquid hose for complete installation
  • Manufactured to GM OE specification for fit, form, and function
  • Genuine ACDelco GM Original Equipment part ensures reliable performance and durability

This heat exchanger assembly is a critical component of modern automotive air conditioning systems, helping to enhance overall system performance while meeting environmental regulations. The internal heat exchanger compensates for the lower energy absorption characteristics of R1234yf refrigerant compared to older refrigerants, ensuring optimal cooling efficiency.

The filter was cheaper and quicker to receive.

Quick and easy to order and receive. Haven't tried the paint yet, so no idea if it's any good. The rating system should be revised to make this more accurate.
