ACDelco 42599564 Rear Shock Absorber Jounce Bumper

The ACDelco 42599564 is a GM OE rear shock absorber jounce bumper (bump stop) engineered to limit suspension travel and protect shock absorber internals from metal-to-metal contact. Installed at the base of the rear shock absorber, this urethane bumper absorbs impact energy at full suspension compression, reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) and extending the service life of surrounding suspension components.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OEM replacement — designed, engineered, and tested to GM specifications
• Functions as a rear shock absorber bump stop to control maximum suspension compression travel
• Helps eliminate harsh bottoming-out sensations and associated NVH
• Durable construction resistant to oil, heat, and road contaminants
• Backed by General Motors quality standards and GM Replacement Parts Limited Warranty
• Sold as a single unit

As a genuine ACDelco GM Original Equipment part, the 42599564 delivers the same fit, form, and function as the factory-installed component, making it the trusted choice for restoring proper suspension performance on compatible GM vehicles.
