Gates 24795 Molded Coolant Hose Lower Radiator Hose

The Gates 24795 is a precision-molded lower radiator hose engineered to deliver OEM-quality cooling system performance. This pre-shaped coolant hose is manufactured to exact specifications for a perfect fit, eliminating the need for costly dealership parts while ensuring reliable engine cooling.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and heat-resistant EPDM cover
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Pre-shaped molded design ensures perfectly sealed connections and easy installation
• Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications for demanding automotive applications
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Resistant to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants for extended service life
• Vacuum collapse resistant materials reduce the need for internal springs

Gates molded coolant hoses are factory-manufactured using exclusive processes to match OEM specifications exactly. The specialized EPDM compound resists the electrochemical reactions that occur between coolant, hoses, and metal fittings, preventing the micro-cracks that lead to premature hose failure. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance.
