ACDelco 23154239 GM Genuine Parts Rear Coil Spring

The ACDelco 23154239 is a GM Genuine Parts rear coil spring (spring rate variant B) designed as a direct OEM replacement for the rear suspension on compatible GM vehicles. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles.

Coil springs — also called helical springs — are a type of torsion spring that store energy and release it when needed, helping absorb shock and maintain the force between two contacting surfaces. They support the weight of the vehicle, maintain proper trim and ride height, and help stabilize handling in rough driving conditions, extending when the suspension drops into dips and compressing over bumps or during hard cornering.

Key Features:

• GM Genuine OEM Part — factory-original fit and function for compatible GM vehicles
• Variant B spring rate — engineered for specific suspension package applications
• Designed to provide a smooth and level ride in vehicles equipped with specified suspension codes, manufactured to meet GM ride and load specifications
• Held to federal safety and quality standards and guaranteed by the GM Replacement Parts Limited Warranty
• Sold as a single spring — replace in axle pairs for proper suspension balance

When replacing, install springs in axle pairs and inspect related mounts and shock absorbers for wear. This ensures consistent spring rates side-to-side and maximum suspension performance.
