BKT Skid Power HD Heavy-Duty Skid Steer Tire

The BKT Skid Power HD is a heavy-duty bias-ply off-the-road (OTR) tire purpose-built for skid steer equipment operating in demanding construction, landscaping, and industrial environments. Engineered for professionals who require reliable uptime and long service life, the Skid Power HD line represents BKT's premium solution for the daily punishment of skid steer operation on loose, rough, and abrasive surfaces.

Construction & Design Features:

• Extra-deep directional tread pattern with large tread lugs delivers superior traction on loose soils, mud, gravel, and uneven terrain while extending overall tread life
• High void ratio and self-cleaning design ejects mud, dirt, and debris to maintain consistent ground contact across mixed terrain conditions
• Silica-enriched rubber compound blended with natural rubber resists chip, cut, and tear damage on abrasive surfaces while reducing tread wear for extended service life
• Reinforced sidewall construction maintains the tire's profile and shape under heavy bucket and lift loads, resisting deformation during operation
• Specially designed rim guard protects the rim flange area against flats and wheel damage, reducing costly job site downtime
• Damage-resistant casing safeguards the internal tire structure to extend overall service life in heavy-duty applications
• Bias-ply construction increases structural strength and delivers enhanced load-carrying capacity suited to the rigors of skid steer use

Performance Benefits:

• Aggressive tread pattern provides enhanced traction in mud, sand, dirt, and mixed terrain for improved machine productivity
• Superior puncture, cut, and chip resistance minimizes unplanned downtime from tire failures on active job sites
• Robust casing maintains shape and stability under heavy loads for safer, more consistent machine performance
• Extended tread life lowers total cost of ownership and reduces tire replacement frequency
