Galaxy Marathoner R-4 Heavy-Duty Industrial Skid Steer Tire

The Galaxy Marathoner R-4 is a heavy-duty, all-season industrial tire engineered for skid steer loaders and demanding off-road equipment applications. Built on a proven bias ply construction, the Marathoner R-4 delivers an industry-trusted combination of aggressive traction, superior durability, and damage resistance — making it a reliable choice for both original equipment and aftermarket replacement use.

At the core of the Marathoner R-4's performance is Galaxy's proprietary Mud Breakers technology — a specialized tread design that actively ejects mud and debris from the tread grooves to maintain consistent ground contact across all terrain types. The R-4 multi-angle lug tread pattern features aggressive lug placement that enhances traction in mud, loose dirt, snow, and mixed terrain, while the self-cleaning design prevents material buildup that could compromise grip and surface contact.

Key Features:

• Galaxy Mud Breakers Technology: Proprietary tread design ejects mud and debris from the grooves, maintaining a clean footprint and delivering outstanding traction in demanding skid steer applications
• R-4 Multi-Angle Lug Tread Pattern: Aggressive lug placement enhances traction across varying terrain conditions and improves pulling power in deep mud and loose soil
• Self-Cleaning Tread Design: Tread elements disperse mud, snow, and debris from the footprint, preventing buildup that could reduce surface contact and compromise traction
• Premium Damage-Resistant Compound: Tough, wear-resistant rubber resists chipping, cracking, and tearing caused by sharp objects and abrasive working surfaces, extending overall tread life
• Reinforced Bias Ply Casing: Heavy-duty internal structure maintains optimal tire shape under intense load and operational pressures, enhancing load-carrying capacity and preventing deformation
• Puncture & Impact Resistance: Durable casing construction guards against punctures, cuts, bruises, and impact damage common in demanding industrial environments
• Stable Handling & Steering Response: Consistent tire shape and constant surface contact improve steering responsiveness and driving stability under heavy-duty workloads
• All-Season Performance: Designed for year-round reliability across a broad range of working conditions, including mud, snow, loose soil, and mixed terrain
• Broad Equipment Compatibility: Well-suited for skid steer loaders, backhoes, boom lifts, compact wheel loaders, industrial tractors, and utility tractors

The Galaxy Marathoner R-4 line is available in multiple sizes and ply ratings to accommodate a wide variety of industrial equipment configurations. Whether specified as original equipment or selected as an aftermarket replacement, the Marathoner R-4 is built to maximize uptime and deliver dependable performance in the toughest working environments.
