BFGoodrich Cross Control S All-Terrain Commercial Truck Tire

The BFGoodrich Cross Control S is an all-terrain steer/all-position radial tire purpose-built for commercial fleets operating in the most demanding mixed-service environments. Designed for vocational applications in the construction, logging, and energy (oil and gas) sectors, the Cross Control S represents one of BFGoodrich's most significant commercial tire innovations — combining proven toughness with intelligent engineering to maximize uptime and minimize total cost of ownership across punishing on- and off-road conditions.

Durability Engineering:

• Retreadable Casing Design: Specially engineered casing construction extends service life and supports multiple retreading cycles, reducing long-term fleet operating costs
• Groove Bottom Protectors: Help reduce stone drilling to protect casing integrity and preserve retreadability throughout the tire's service life
• Heat-Release Compounds: Advanced heat-dissipating materials reduce internal casing temperatures under severe operating conditions, guarding against heat-related damage and extending tire life
• Full-Protector Ply: Provides enhanced protection from road hazard penetrations, extending coverage well past the outer grooves for broader hazard defense
• Anti-Cut and Chip Resistant Tread Compound: Helps prevent tread damage from sharp rocks and debris, reducing the risk of premature tire removal from service
• Thick Sidewalls: Extra sidewall reinforcement resists damage from impacts and abrasions common in off-road and construction environments

Traction and Performance:

• Aggressive Ribbed Tread Design: Delivers confident traction in challenging on- and off-road conditions without sacrificing highway handling or ride comfort
• Serrated Shoulder with Staggered Rib Blocks: Enhances maneuverability in soft soils, mud, and snow for greater all-terrain versatility
• All-Position Application: Engineered for steer axle and all-position service on commercial trucks and vocational vehicles

BFGoodrich Work Hard Guarantee:

BFGoodrich backs the Cross Control S with its Work Hard Guarantee — if you are not completely satisfied with traction performance, or the tire is taken out of service in the first six months or before 50% of usable tread life (whichever comes first), BFGoodrich will reimburse 50% of the acquisition price per tire. Additionally, wide-base versions of the Cross Control S are guaranteed to deliver 20% more mileage than the BFGoodrich ST565 wide-base tire.

The BFGoodrich Cross Control S is the trusted choice for fleet operators and owner-operators who demand a commercial truck tire that performs reliably across job sites and highways alike — engineered to reduce downtime and deliver measurable value across the full service life of the tire.
