Yokohama AVS S/T High Performance Light Truck & SUV Summer Tire

The Yokohama AVS S/T is a summer high-performance tire engineered specifically for street and sport trucks and SUVs that demand aggressive grip and responsive handling. Drawing on Yokohama's motorsport-derived engineering heritage, the AVS S/T combines an assertive unidirectional tread design with robust construction technology to deliver confident performance in both dry and wet driving conditions.

Key Features:

• Aggressive Unidirectional Tread Design: The directional tread pattern is optimized for exceptional acceleration and braking grip while efficiently channeling water away from the contact patch for improved wet-weather traction and steering responsiveness.
• Large Shoulder Blocks: Extended shoulder block geometry maximizes the contact area during cornering, delivering enhanced lateral grip and more precise handling dynamics.
• Scalloped Shoulder: Proprietary shoulder shaping improves tread block rigidity to help maintain ride composure and structural stability under load.
• Nylon Belt-Edge Covers: Reinforced nylon belt-edge construction maintains optimal tire shape under high-speed driving conditions, enhancing durability and promoting even treadwear across the tire's service life.
• Rim Protector Bar (RPB): An integrated molded barrier along the lower sidewall shields wheel edges from damage caused by potholes, curbs, and other road hazards.
• Truck-Rated Construction: Built to support the weight demands of light trucks and SUVs without inducing uneven wear, extending usable tire life across the full range of available sizes.

Important Note: The AVS S/T is an H- and V-speed-rated summer performance tire. It is not recommended for use in snowy, icy, or sustained cold-weather conditions below 45°F.

Backed by Yokohama's decades of global tire technology leadership — including its role as official tire supplier to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship — the AVS S/T is the choice for truck and SUV drivers who want to elevate their vehicle's handling dynamics with a tire built to perform as aggressively as it looks.
