VAICO V30-7642 Automatic Transmission Control Unit Plug Housing

The VAICO V30-7642 is a plug housing designed for automatic transmission control units in vehicles equipped with the Mercedes-Benz 722.6 5-speed automatic transmission. This connector housing serves as the critical interface between the vehicle's wiring harness and the transmission's conductor plate, allowing electronic communication between the transmission control module (TCM) and the valve body.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for OEM part numbers A 203 540 02 53, 203 540 02 53, A 203 540 01 53, and A 203 540 00 53
• Includes integrated O-ring seals to prevent transmission fluid leakage
• Features built-in 7mm mounting bolt for secure installation
• Designed specifically for Mercedes-Benz 722.6 transmission (also known as NAG1 in Chrysler/Dodge applications)
• Lightweight construction at approximately 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg)
• German-engineered quality meeting OEM specifications

This plug housing is a common maintenance item for the 722.6 transmission, as the O-ring seals can deteriorate over time and cause transmission fluid to leak into the electrical connector. If left unaddressed, this leak can allow fluid to travel up the wiring to the TCM, potentially causing transmission slip, delayed engagement, or communication errors between the control module and valve body. The VAICO V30-7642 provides a cost-effective solution to restore proper sealing and electrical connectivity.

What's Included:
