Product Details

The VAICO V20-1566 is a direct-fit replacement coolant expansion tank designed for BMW X5 (E70) and X6 (E71, E72) models from 2007-2014. This essential cooling system component serves as the reservoir for engine coolant, allowing for thermal expansion and contraction while maintaining proper system pressure.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE-quality replacement for BMW part numbers 17137552546 and 17137647283
  • Durable construction designed to withstand high temperature and pressure cycling
  • Includes integrated level sensor mounting provision
  • Features pressure cap sealing surface and overflow connection
  • Precision-molded to ensure proper fit and seal

VAICO specializes in aftermarket parts for European vehicles, offering OE-equivalent quality at competitive pricing. This expansion tank helps prevent overheating by maintaining proper coolant levels and system pressure. Regular inspection of the expansion tank is recommended, as age and heat cycles can cause plastic degradation leading to cracks or leaks.
