The Cometic C5889-086 is a multi-layer steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LS7 Gen-4 small block V8 engines with aftermarket sleeve applications. This precision gasket features a 4.150-inch bore diameter and .086-inch compressed thickness, providing optimal sealing for high-performance builds.

Key Features:

• Multi-layer steel construction for superior sealing and durability under extreme pressures
• 4.150-inch bore diameter accommodates aftermarket sleeve configurations
• .086-inch (2.18mm) compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• Designed specifically for GM LS7 Gen-4 small block V8 applications
• Engineered for use with aftermarket sleeves only—not compatible with OEM block configurations
• Cometic's proprietary coating ensures optimal sealing and easy installation

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology, providing exceptional resistance to blowout and maintaining seal integrity even in high-boost, high-compression racing applications. The embossed layers create optimal sealing pressure distribution across the entire combustion chamber surface.
