• Military-grade hard anodized coating for maximum corrosion resistance
• Massive 1-inch UltraBrite precipitation-hardened stainless steel shaft resists pitting and flaking
• High-quality DU bearing provides smooth, consistent operation
• Remote reservoir configuration for enhanced cooling and fade-resistant performance
• Weighs significantly less than comparable 2.5-inch steel body shocks while offering greater surface area

Mounting Specifications:

• Spherical bearings top and bottom with 1/2-inch bore
• Clevis mounting width of 1-1/4 inches
• 13-inch shock length designed for optimal performance with 4.5-inch lift systems
• Bolt-on installation for front axle position

The RRD 2.625 series features a standard 60/40 valving split for balanced compression and rebound damping characteristics. The fluted aluminum construction provides surface area greater than most 3-inch bodied shocks, allowing the shock to cool twice as fast as conventional designs for consistent, fade-resistant performance during demanding off-road use. Each shock is backed by Rock Krawler's 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
