The Four Seasons 6552R A/C Compressor Clutch Assembly is a replacement air conditioning compressor clutch. It is also called an AC compressor clutch or A/C clutch kit.

The clutch engages and disengages the A/C compressor from the engine's drive belt. When the air conditioning is switched on, the clutch connects the compressor to the belt so it can circulate refrigerant. When the system is off, the clutch lets the compressor stop turning.
