Motormite 85405 16-14 Gauge Ring Terminal 1/4 Inch Stud Blue

The Motormite 85405 is a vinyl-insulated ring terminal designed for reliable electrical connections in automotive, marine, and general wiring applications. This terminal accommodates 16-14 AWG gauge wire and fits a 1/4 inch stud size, making it ideal for battery connections, starter circuits, and other high-current applications.

Key Features:

• 16-14 AWG wire gauge capacity for versatile wiring applications
• 1/4 inch (6.35mm) stud hole diameter for secure bolt-on connections
• Blue vinyl insulation for easy gauge identification and electrical protection
• Copper construction with tin plating for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Crimped barrel design ensures a secure, gas-tight connection
• Color-coded insulation meets industry standards for quick wire gauge recognition

Ring terminals provide a more secure connection than spade or quick-disconnect terminals, as they must be removed by loosening the fastener rather than simply pulling off. The vinyl insulation protects against shorts and provides strain relief at the wire connection point. Ideal for use in automotive electrical systems, marine applications, RVs, and powersports vehicles where vibration-resistant connections are essential.
