US Motor Works 21049 Non-Thermal Engine Cooling Fan Clutch

The US Motor Works 21049 is a standard non-thermal engine cooling fan clutch designed as an economical replacement for various GM and Jeep vehicles. This continuously engaged fan clutch provides reliable engine cooling performance without the complexity of thermal sensing mechanisms.

Key Features:

• 7.25 inch diameter standard non-thermal design
• CNC machined aluminum body construction for durability and heat dissipation
• Continuously engaged operation for consistent cooling performance
• Bolt-on installation for easy replacement
• Precision engineered using materials that meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Compatible with a variety of GM and Jeep 4, 6, and 8 cylinder models

Non-thermal fan clutches are RPM-dependent and rely on centrifugal force from the water pump shaft to regulate fan speed. Unlike thermal clutches that engage and disengage based on temperature, this non-thermal design remains partially engaged at all times, spinning at approximately 30-60% of water pump speed. This provides adequate cooling capacity and represents a cost-effective alternative to thermal fan clutches.

US Motor Works manufactures premium quality engine cooling components with stringent quality control standards and sophisticated testing procedures. Each fan clutch is precision manufactured to ensure accuracy, reliability, and long-lasting performance in demanding automotive applications.
