Product Details

The FCS 84539 Trunk Lid Lift Support is a direct-replacement gas strut designed to restore smooth, controlled operation to your vehicle's trunk lid. This lift support provides the necessary force to assist in opening and holding the trunk lid in the raised position, eliminating the need to manually prop it open.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for worn or failed OEM lift supports
  • Gas-charged design provides consistent lifting force throughout the stroke
  • Durable steel construction with corrosion-resistant finish
  • Pre-charged and ready to install
  • Includes mounting hardware for secure installation
  • Restores proper trunk lid function and safety

Over time, trunk lift supports lose their gas charge and fail to hold the trunk lid open, creating a safety hazard and inconvenience. Replacing worn lift supports with the FCS 84539 restores factory operation and ensures your trunk lid opens smoothly and stays securely in place. Sold individually; most vehicles require two lift supports for proper operation.

Quick and easy

This item on Amazon by your company is listed as 4"x4"x3.9" which is incorrect. I hesitated and found your site which doesn't list the size. I hope this is correct for my RV Spartan engine. Otherwise your site is great!

Ordered my hydrofoil for my 9.9 johnston outboard motor. Hope it fits. Easy website to move around in. Thanks. Steve
