The COMP Cams Mutha' Thumpr CL01-601-8 is a complete hydraulic roller camshaft and lifter kit engineered specifically for Chevrolet Big Block Gen VI engines. This aggressive cam delivers the signature Thumpr sound with excellent throttle response and strong mid-range power, making it ideal for street performance applications where you want maximum attitude with modern reliability.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 235° Intake / 249° Exhaust
  • Duration at .050": 212° Intake / 220° Exhaust
  • Valve Lift: .525" Intake / .540" Exhaust (with 1.7 rocker ratio)
  • Lobe Separation Angle: 112°
  • Hydraulic roller design for reduced friction and increased durability
  • Aggressive lope idle with strong vacuum for power brakes

Complete Kit Includes:

This cam is designed for engines with stock or aftermarket cylinder heads, headers, and 2500+ RPM stall converters. Recommended operating range is 1500-5800 RPM, with peak power occurring between 3500-5500 RPM.
