Product Details

The Auto Transmiss Parts (ATP) Z112 is an automatic transmission flexplate, also called a flex plate or drive plate. It connects the engine crankshaft to the torque converter in vehicles with an automatic transmission. The ring gear teeth on its outer edge engage the starter. This flexplate is for externally balanced engines.

A flexplate flexes as engine RPM changes, and repeated flexing can eventually cause cracks or shearing. A damaged flexplate cannot be repaired and must be replaced. Replacing it restores normal operation and helps prevent costly drivetrain damage.
