EBC DP81946RPX RPX Race Front Brake Pads

The EBC DP81946RPX RPX Race Brake Pads deliver ultra-high performance for track and race applications. Following the successful launch of RP-1™, EBC Brakes Racing increases its motorsport brake pad range with the introduction of the RP-X™ track and race material. Made 100% in the EBC Brakes Bristol UK facility from a Carbon Kevlar blend of materials, these front brake pads are engineered for vehicles driven hard on track.

Key Performance Features:

• High friction level of 0.55 between 0-750°C (Ambient-1400°F) with 100% brake effect from cold
• Very stable friction coefficient of 0.55 mu up to and beyond 850°C, providing exceptional fade resistance
• High friction level from cold requiring no warmup to achieve maximum braking effect, ideal for sprint racing and hill climb events
• 25% increase in friction coefficient compared to RP-1 with a more positive initial bite
• Stainless steel back-plates with revolutionary Nucap NRS system hook pad retention to prevent debonding

RP-X™ is well suited to any type of circuit use where a high initial bite and powerful brake response is desirable. The higher friction level and initial bite make RP-X™ well suited to under-servo'd vehicles such as Nissan GT-R R35 and Porsche GT models, where aggressive pad material helps optimize pedal travel. Although RP-X is not R90 homologated for use on public roads in EU member states, its excellent cold performance characteristics make it a top choice for serious track enthusiasts.
