Cometic C4588-050 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Bore Thick - 89.5mm 050

The Cometic C4588-050 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for Subaru FA20D and Toyota 4U-GSE engines. This precision gasket features an 89.5mm bore diameter and .050" (1.27mm) compressed thickness, designed for the right-hand side (RHS) cylinder bank.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction with multiple layers of stainless steel for superior sealing and durability
• 89.5mm bore diameter provides optimal combustion chamber sealing
• .050" compressed thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• Engineered specifically for Subaru FA20D (BRZ/86) and Toyota 4U-GSE engines
• Viton rubber gasket material coating ensures excellent heat resistance and sealing properties
• Stopper layer design controls gasket compression and prevents over-tightening damage
• Ideal for high-performance street applications and forced induction builds

Cometic MLS gaskets are manufactured using advanced materials and processes to withstand extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures. The multi-layer construction allows the gasket to adapt to slight imperfections in sealing surfaces while maintaining superior combustion sealing. This gasket is designed for the right-hand cylinder bank and must be paired with the appropriate left-hand gasket for complete engine assembly.
