Cometic C4590-050 MLS Cylinder Head Gasket for Subaru Bore - EJ205 93.5mm

The Cometic C4590-050 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Subaru EJ205 turbocharged engines. This gasket features a compressed thickness of .050 inches and a precision 93.5mm bore diameter to provide optimal sealing and combustion chamber volume control.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
• .050" (1.27mm) compressed gasket thickness
• 93.5mm bore diameter designed for EJ205 applications
• Provides excellent resistance to combustion pressure and temperature cycling
• Ideal for stock rebuilds or performance applications with elevated boost levels
• Manufactured with precision-machined embossments for optimal sealing

Cometic MLS gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating to create a superior seal that recovers from thermal expansion and contraction. This design makes them particularly well-suited for turbocharged applications where head lift and high cylinder pressures are concerns. The .050" thickness is a popular choice for maintaining proper piston-to-valve clearance while providing a robust seal.
