Keystone HO1132103 Catalytic Converter Air Injection Tube

The Keystone HO1132103 is a direct-fit replacement catalytic converter air tube designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's secondary air injection system. This essential emissions component connects the air pump to the catalytic converter, delivering fresh air to help complete the oxidation process and reduce harmful emissions.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for OEM part number ensures proper fitment
• Manufactured from durable materials to withstand high exhaust temperatures
• Restores secondary air injection system operation
• Helps eliminate hissing exhaust noise from damaged or corroded air tubes
• Essential for passing emissions testing in regulated areas
• Includes necessary fittings for installation

The secondary air tube plays a critical role in the emissions control system by introducing oxygen-rich air into the catalytic converter during cold start and certain operating conditions. This additional air helps the catalyst burn off residual hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide more efficiently. A damaged or missing air tube can trigger check engine lights, create exhaust leaks, and prevent the emissions system from operating properly.
