ACDelco 12701634 Heated Oxygen Sensor

The ACDelco 12701634 is a GM Genuine Parts heated oxygen sensor designed as an OE-quality replacement for your vehicle's original component. This feedback sensor mounts to your vehicle's exhaust system and measures the proportion of oxygen in exhaust gases. Using this measurement, the engine control module (ECM) can adjust the air/fuel ratio to near the optimal value of 14.7:1, where engine performance, emissions, and fuel economy are all optimized.

Key Features:

• Designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous GM standards with full General Motors backing
• Replaces OEM part number 12663317
• Uses validated sensor components matched to engine-specific applications
• Correct wire length engineered for your specific application to prevent premature failure
• Detects oxygen content in exhaust gases to help optimize emissions
• Heated element for faster sensor operation and improved cold-start performance

When replacing oxygen sensors, it is critical to use GM OE parts, as components that do not meet GM OE specifications can be detrimental to emission controls. Using non-compliant sensors can result in increased nitrogen dioxide emissions, higher exhaust gas temperature, misfires, loss of engine power, and potential catalytic converter damage from overheating.

Important Installation Note: This part requires programming and/or special setup procedures as described in GM Service Information. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper operation and system integration.
