Rywire RY-DIS-PRELUDE-2-1 OBD2 to OBD1 Distributor Adapter for Honda Prelude

The Rywire RY-DIS-PRELUDE-2-1 is a distributor adapter that converts 1996 and up Prelude distributor and crank sensor plugs to match a 1992-1995 OBD1 distributor. This adapter is specifically designed for US Spec Honda Prelude models and enables engine swaps or ECU conversions by allowing OBD2 distributors to work with OBD1 engine management systems.

Key Features:

• Jumper included to convert external to internal coil conversion
• Plug-and-play installation with no wire splicing required
• Converts OBD2 Prelude distributor and crank sensor connections to OBD1 format
• Essential for OBD1 ECU swaps on 1996+ Honda Prelude models
• High-quality connectors for reliable ignition signal transmission

Important Notes:

• Not compatible with 1998 and up Honda Accord models
• Some computers, mainly USA OBD2 models, may throw a code for cam sensor due to a different trigger wheel; Japanese or OBD1 computers are recommended for this conversion
• When converting from external to internal distributor, use the supplied fuse to jump the two thick gauge wires on the external coil connector
