Product Details

The Cometic C5497-027 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engines. This precision gasket features an 87.5mm bore diameter and a compressed thickness of .027 inches, making it ideal for both stock rebuilds and performance applications.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • .027" (0.69mm) compressed gasket thickness
  • 87.5mm bore diameter for precise fitment
  • Designed for Chrysler 420A and ECC 4-cylinder engines
  • Handles high cylinder pressures in turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications
  • Embossed stainless steel layers with viton rubber coating

Cometic MLS head gaskets are constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel with a viton rubber coating, providing excellent rebound characteristics and superior sealing capability. The MLS design conforms to surface irregularities and maintains consistent clamping pressure across the entire gasket surface, making it the preferred choice for high-performance and racing applications. This gasket is compatible with Chrysler Neon, PT Cruiser, and Dodge Neon SRT-4 models equipped with the 420A or ECC turbocharged engine.

It was one of the few places I could find online that sold the Warn gaskets I was looking for. It was a great price, shipping costs were ok, but overall I had a good experience and I'll definitely come back.

Lowest prices I found on the net and great customer service! Fast shipping too!
