Diode Dynamics DD1188S DRL Warning Canceller Module Single

The Diode Dynamics DD1188S DRL Warning Canceller Module is designed to eliminate flickering and bulb out warnings when HID conversion kits are installed on vehicles with pulse width modulation circuits. Many vehicle manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Volkswagen use alternating current (specifically pulse width modulation) on newer vehicles to extend halogen bulb life and achieve lower brightness levels on daytime running lights.

How It Works:

HID conversion kits require continuous current to operate correctly. When HIDs are installed on a DRL circuit with pulse width modulation, the lights will flicker rapidly and relays may buzz loudly. This Warning Canceller Module provides the solution by regulating the electrical signal.

Installation:

To install, simply plug the Warning Canceller inline between the signal wire coming out of the headlight and the relay. If you are using a relay harness to power the kit from your battery, you can use one canceller. If powering the kit directly from stock plugs, you will need two modules.

This module eliminates bulb out or bulb failure warnings in most Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, and other European vehicles when HID kits are installed.
