The Ksport BKMS010-961SO Supercomp Big Brake Kit is Ksport's most extreme bolt-on brake upgrade, engineered to deliver the highest level of stopping power without requiring any vehicle modifications. This complete front big brake kit features an 8-piston caliper with 15.7-inch (400mm) slotted rotors, offering a dramatic performance leap over OEM braking systems.
Forged One-Piece Aerospace Aluminum Calipers
The SuperComp caliper is machined from a single solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum rather than being cast or welded — providing perfectly uniform wall thickness and strength throughout the entire caliper block. This construction eliminates the weak spots that lead to fracturing, warpage, and long-term failure. Aluminum pistons are paired with heavy-duty high-temperature seals rated for racetrack conditions, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are included as standard.
Floating Two-Piece Rotor Design
SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating outer rotor section self-centers in the caliper to lower brake drag and promote more even pad application. This design also prevents thermal stress from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface under extreme heat. Every rotor is heat treated and balanced before shipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Features:
- 8-piston forged aluminum caliper — one-piece billet construction from aerospace-quality aluminum
- 15.7-inch (400mm) slotted two-piece floating rotors — reduce rotating and unsprung weight significantly vs. OEM
- Aluminum caliper pistons with heavy-duty high-temperature seals and stainless steel pad wear plates
- CNC machined carbon-steel caliper brackets — allow direct bolt-on to OEM caliper bracket locations
- D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines — eliminate line expansion under pressure for firmer, more responsive pedal feel
- NAOC ceramic brake pads included — optimized for street and occasional track use
- Slotted rotor design — expels gas and pad debris rapidly, reduces brake fade; recommended for track-focused use
- Caliper color options — standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow); premium anodized finishes available
- 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects
Rotor Style Guidance: Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with regular track use. Cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are better suited for primarily street-driven applications.
What's Included: Calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, D.O.T. stainless steel brake lines, CNC carbon-steel caliper brackets, and all required hardware.
