The Ksport BKMD012-653SO is a performance big brake kit engineered to deliver superior stopping power with significantly reduced brake fade. Built around advanced braking technology, this kit continuously cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking for consistent, reliable performance — whether on the street or the track. The system is designed as a straightforward bolt-on upgrade, requiring no vehicle modifications and only minimal tooling in most applications.

Caliper Construction:

• Lightweight one-piece caliper CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum — no casting or welding
• Differential bore configuration for optimized pad pressure distribution
• Each caliper weighs just over 5 lbs., significantly reducing unsprung weight
• Machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes add structural integrity
• Aluminum pistons provide superior heat resistance over OEM steel pistons
• High-temperature seals and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard
• Opposed piston design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity vs. OEM
• Available in 4, 6, or 8 piston configurations

Rotor Design:

• Two-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight
• Floating outer rotor section self-centers in the caliper, lowering brake drag and promoting more even pad application

Brake Pads:

• SC5 NAOC Ceramic street pads included as standard equipment — optimal operating range 194°F to 1,022°F
• Ceramic compound reduces brake dust by 50% or more compared to race pads
• Optional RC1 carbon metallic race pads available for extreme track conditions (not recommended for street use)

All Ksport big brake kits include a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects. OEM ABS systems remain fully functional with this brake kit installed.
