Product Details

The Dorman 911-387 Evaporative Emissions Purge Valve is a direct replacement component designed to control the flow of fuel vapors from the EVAP canister to the engine intake manifold. This purge valve plays a critical role in your vehicle's evaporative emissions system by opening and closing on command from the engine control module to allow stored fuel vapors to be burned during the combustion process.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement for proper fit and function
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable performance
  • Helps prevent check engine lights related to EVAP system faults
  • Durable construction designed to withstand engine bay temperatures and fuel vapor exposure
  • Rigorous quality testing ensures dependable operation

A failing purge valve can trigger diagnostic trouble codes, cause rough idle, difficulty starting, or poor fuel economy. Replacing a faulty purge valve with this Dorman component restores proper EVAP system function and helps your vehicle maintain emissions compliance.
