Yukon Gear & Axle YAWU-15 Spin Free Locking Hub Conversion Kit

The Yukon Gear & Axle YAWU-15 Spin Free Kit is a complete hub conversion system designed specifically for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. This innovative kit replaces the factory unit bearings with a more durable and serviceable tapered bearing and race design, while adding manual locking hubs for improved efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.

Key Features:

• Replaces failure-prone factory unit bearings with robust tapered bearings and races
• Includes Yukon Hardcore Premium low-profile locking hubs for quick 2WD/4WD engagement
• Reduces parasitic drag by eliminating unnecessary rotating components in 2WD mode
• Improves fuel efficiency by reducing drivetrain resistance
• Easier and more economical to service than factory unit bearing design
• Complete kit with all components needed for installation

By converting to a locking hub system, the front axle shafts, differential, and driveshaft remain stationary when in 2WD mode, significantly reducing wear on drivetrain components and improving overall fuel economy. The low-profile design maintains ground clearance while providing reliable engagement when four-wheel drive is needed.
