AMP Research 74824-01A BedXtender HD Max Truck Bed Extender Black

The AMP Research BedXtender HD Max (74824-01A) is a heavy-duty aluminum truck bed extender that adds up to 2 feet of enclosed cargo space to your pickup. Featuring a classic U-shape design, this bed extender flips outward over a lowered tailgate to dramatically increase hauling capacity for oversized loads — or flips inward to corral tools and smaller cargo securely within the bed.

Key Features:

• Up to 24 inches of additional bed length — flip outward with tailgate open for extended cargo area
• Dual-position design — use inside the bed as a cargo manager to contain smaller items
• 6063 T6 aluminum alloy tube construction — lightweight yet exceptionally strong
• Rugged glass-reinforced nylon composite uprights for added rigidity
• Durable textured matte black powder coat finish — corrosion and rust resistant
• Includes all necessary hardware for installation; some drilling may be required
• Made in the USA
• 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty

The BedXtender HD Max mounts within the truck bed using specially designed brackets that serve as pivot points, allowing the extender to rotate quickly and easily between the extended and interior positions. Installation uses the included hardware and instruction guide. This is the small/compact truck fitment version in black finish. Cross-reference part numbers include 74824-00A (silver).
