Cometic C15361-040 GM MLS Cylinder Head Gasket Bore - LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6 3.810

The Cometic C15361-040 is a premium Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed specifically for GM LS Gen-3 and Gen-4 small block V8 engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 variants. This high-performance gasket features a .040" compressed thickness and is engineered to handle the demanding conditions of both street and racing applications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior strength and durability
• 3.810" bore diameter to accommodate stock and slightly modified engines
• .040" compressed thickness for precise compression ratio tuning
• Compatible with LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 Gen-3/4 small block V8 engines
• Advanced coating technology ensures excellent sealing and prevents corrosion
• Handles high cylinder pressures in forced induction and naturally aspirated applications
• Provides consistent clamping load across the entire sealing surface

Cometic MLS gaskets are manufactured using multiple layers of stainless steel with precision-engineered embossments that create superior sealing around combustion chambers, coolant passages, and oil ports. The .040" thickness allows engine builders to fine-tune compression ratios for optimal performance, making this gasket ideal for performance rebuilds, engine swaps, and racing applications.
