Product Details

The Cometic C4591-080 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Mitsubishi 4G63T DOHC turbocharged engines found in Lancer Evolution models 4 through 8. This precision gasket features an 87mm bore diameter and .080" (2.0mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for boosted applications and engine builds requiring enhanced sealing capabilities.

Key Specifications:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction for superior sealing and durability
  • 87mm bore diameter optimized for 4G63T engine block
  • .080" (2.0mm) compressed thickness
  • Designed for DOHC turbocharged applications
  • Direct fit for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII

Cometic MLS head gaskets utilize multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coating technology to provide exceptional resistance to combustion pressure, thermal cycling, and extreme temperatures. The increased thickness helps lower compression ratios in high-boost applications while maintaining reliable cylinder sealing. This gasket is a trusted choice for performance builds, engine rebuilds, and forced induction upgrades on the legendary 4G63T platform.
