Gates 51476 Modular Upper Radiator Coolant Hose

The Gates 51476 is a premium modular upper radiator coolant hose assembly engineered for OE-quality replacement applications. This hose features Gates' advanced modular design with integrated components including hose branches, quick-connectors, and essential fittings molded into a single assembly for precise fitment and reliable performance.

Key Features:

• Modular assembly construction with integrated OE components eliminates multiple connection points
• EPDM tube and cover with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Heat and ozone resistant cover withstands extreme underhood temperatures
• Temperature range: -40°F to +275°F (-40°C to +135°C)
• Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse under high-performance conditions
• 1.75-inch inside diameter provides proper coolant flow
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 specifications for quality assurance

Gates modular coolant hoses are precision-manufactured to OEM specifications, ensuring proper fit and function in modern engine cooling systems. The advanced EPDM compound resists the electrochemical reaction between coolant, hose material, and metal fittings that causes micro-cracking and premature failure in standard hoses. This upper radiator position hose includes necessary connectors and branches integrated into the assembly.
